Transfer Procedures

Transfer Procedures

Transfer Transactions, although it seems like a complex and long process, it covers the bureaucratic procedures that must be done after the inheritance. We tried to evaluate the transfer to the land registry process with all its aspects for you.

Documents Required for Inheritance

In order for the heirs to claim rights on the inheritance, all of the immovable properties must be registered in the land registry. The heirs have to do this. For this, a legal representative can be preferred or the heirs can easily register themselves. As with all official transactions, there are documents that the heirs must prepare for transfer transactions.

  • For real estate and real estates that are to be transferred, title deeds or documents specifying the parcel number
  • Identity of the heir or legal representative requesting success
  • Original or notarized copy of the certificate of inheritance obtained through the court or notary public
  • If a photo is required to be affixed on the title deed, the photos of the heir or heirs who make this request
  • If the immovable property is a building in nature, documents proving that earthquake insurance has been made

Financial Transfer Transactions

If the transfer of immovable property will be done by inheritance, no fees or taxes are incurred. However, additional payments may be required during transfer transactions financially. If there is a real estate debt on the immovable, this debt must be paid first. In addition, transfer transactions to be made in the title deed are not subject to an additional fee, except for inheritance and gift tax.
